Specialising in remedial & sports massage, Jan sees himself as a facilitator of the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Jan is very passionate about his work and is expert on the body’s musculoskeletal system. Much as you might provide the right building blocks through nutrition, you can provide the right environment, mindset, muscle tone or postural guidance for the body to return to its own unique equilibrium or balance.
In remedial, corrective work, the “no pain, no gain” rule applies, however, Jan aims to find a balance – there will be enough discomfort to facilitate a change in the body, but not so much that the patient and practitioner should be fighting or tensing against each other’s pressure – a team effort works best when there is a flow, rather than a conflict – however small that might be.

If I could sum up in a single word, how Jan has helped me with getting my body back in to alignment after years of heavy physical training and recent sport injuries it would be “magic”. He listens to you and finds the real area that needs work and educates you on how to keep things humming along without the complicated jargon, he just keeps it real.
